I'm allowed out for a change :) No track session for me as I've got new brakes all round and they need some bedding in.

Won't be coming to this session as the garage said my MX-5 isn't ready as the new ABS sensor hasn't arrived :( looks like it'll be Friday I pick it up. Shame really, would've loved to track her but it gives me a month to purchase a few mods such as ARB and upper & lower, front & rear strut braces.

Anyone doing the 7pm or 7:40pm track session(s)?

Real busy at moment so not sure I can make it, but would be good to get out there and blow the cobwebs away :driving:

Couple of other quick questions, will the noise testing be over by the garage or holding paddock? And will the drivers briefing be in the sign in office again?

Cheers.

Noise testing will be in the usual place at the Fuel Pumps throughout. Signing on will be in the venue office, and briefing is yet tbc but we will advise on the night.

Spaces for sessions can be booked here:

However you are more than welcome to come on the night and book a taster session, just go to the office and see Andy Quadling or pop up to see me in race control!

Thanks :driving:

Does anyone know if any of the workshops at Snetterton do 4-weel alignment? Am wondering if a last-minute check might be possible late tomorrow afternoon, before evening track sessions. Fitted the 5zigen wheels with R888s last night for the first time and then I remembered I've not had the geo checked yet...

On the other hand I don't think the setup can be massively wrong since it handled well on the other wheels/tyres at Snett last year and tyre wear has been even over the few k miles I've had it. Car is MX5 with Gaz Gold coilovers, with no recipt for alignment in the (comprehensive) history file.

Planning to book the 7pm experienced-driver session, possibly 7:40pm too; anyone else?
