How do your current rims compare weight wise to your old Rotas? I've got an old pair of Rota SVN (18x10) on the front of the zed and they are pretty light with road tyres fitted, in fact I'd hazard a guess and say that they are lighter than my old set of Gram Lights (17x8.5 and 17x9.5) that were fitted with 888'sMonster wrote:have to be 18s, need 18x10 et -12 or -20 max

I don't know chief, I haven't weighted them, which is clearly something I should do! But I would agree that rota;s seem to be light (poss due to the almost invisible paint). While the Comp MO's seem to be pretty heavy.
Interesting that you had some gram lights though. I need to weight both sets to see if it's worth the change.

The gram lights I had were one of the older designs (57c from 2002 I think the sticker stated) but still they were pretty light compared to most of the other rims that I've owned. They just sat on the car for 12 months and were then sold a few months ago to a young lad from Ebbw Vale (for a couple of hundred quid profit at least). Surprisingly though brake clearance wasn't as good as other Rays.
