Not as such. Due to lack of funds for a track day I have come up with an alternative. Local, cheap and should get Alan all fired up and ready to go......Go-Karting.

Cool  Will be interested in your thoughts on these; on lighter cars (sub 1000kg and rear wheel drive) they were quite highly rated :) Certainly great value for money.

Must admit i was surprised at the variety of events these are used in and the value for money they represent. The only issue so far are the very limited sizes available and the general availability of them.

Cage is in and dash refitted. As we still use the car on the road we went for a cage that fitted behind the dash to make getting in and out a bit easier. Getting old...

Also fitted a new oil catch tank setup.

Don't remind us, we thought about selling it and buying another one but seemed a lot of hassle to try and make about £50 - £100 quid. Plus at the time we couldn't find a decently priced one.

The new seat frame had to lower the drivers position, be adjustable to suit both me and Alan and still allow us to use the seat belt.

The prototype.
