Had a little impromptu Snetterton run Sunday. The local police were running a driver skill day where you could try and beat their time around a coned course.

Naturally, the rex won ;)

So the Rex has been off the road for about 3 months due to a blown oil seal on the primary turbo. I took my time and found a good rebuilt set which im going to start fitting tomorrow. Setting a target for the end of March to get it back on the road so I can book some track days.

In the mean time im selling my DC2 Integra daily and I have bought a 6 second sofa to replace it with (im getting old lol!). Its a 2005 e90 330i manual. 260bhp straight 6 engine.

Spent 4 hours cleaning, claying and waxing today. Came out to a mirror finish! :)

Ok here we go again then!

Water pump was making noises so have replaced. Luckily pretty easy and decent access with a v mount setup.

Image

Now the biggie. Turbo pack again!!

Fluids drained, downpipe off and turbo pack stripped ready for removal. Took about 3 hours.

Image

I hope to get the new turbo pack and downpipe on by the end of tomorrow and then that's the hard part out of the way.

Then its plumbing in a greddy profec b 2 to control the now simplified rats nest for the perfect sequential twin turbo setup.
