Nice one Dan! The top side is now starting to look as clean as the underside. :)
This must really be one of the tidiest `96 mr2`s around?

Cheers Russ. It'll be wonderful when it has the mop work, especially for something that's 18 years old! Granted there are still small blemishes and chips here and there but it easily is the best original paint MR2s I've seen. And I forgot how nice it was in warm weather having the roof off. :D

Nice work Dan, saw the pics on FB. Will look ace when Stu has worked on it.

Cheers guys. It's a cracking little car, not the fastest on the road but still turns heads. (especially being green) :driving:

Cheers Mike. Will look much better when the wheels and composite hard roof (for winter) panels are painted up.

Thinking of an import rear bumper at some point too, I prefer the look of them. :coolgleamA:

Another tarty update. :seeya:

My import hanger and 1 of 2 plates arrived today!

Looks much better IMO. Only problem is that behind the UK plate hanger there was a massive amount of scratches, missing paint and chips! So for the time being I've quickly masked and painted those up so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Once my J-spec rear bumper arrives (hopefully this week) I'll get Steve to come round and sort both of them out at the same time.

I'll also be dropping off the car with Stu this Sunday so he can work his magic and bring the bodywork back to former glory.

Looks good Dan.

Cheers Gareth. It is unusual, it's green in one light but purple in another! Two for the price of one. :)

Yeah it's the import version bumper, sounds silly going through all this effort to just have it mounted, but I prefer the look of them and Rev3+ imports can cost at least a £1000 more then the UK versions.
