Thanks mate that's really useful to know. Ref the tyres is that 225 all round then?
I did notice on a few youtube clips that the EDM Celica (running in GT200 class) was struggling with rear end grip when turning in, I believe it was at Castle Combe.

I'm using my iPhone at the moment but will try to dig out some video clips shortly

I was wondering if a slightly wider tyre on the rear would help with this or whether tyre pressure adjustment, spring rates or ARB settings would solve the issue. Not that I'm looking to buy the EDM Celica but will likely be one very similar

i have no "fast" experience with FWD, but i would run 225 all round to begin with. a lack of rear end grip would point to the rear ARB being too stiff. best to get it on a trackday with a whiteline ARB and spend some time dialling it in. will the car in question have adjustable suspension too?

i am planning a shakedown day at snetterton on thursday 10th april, where i aim to have my car prepped and ready for tweaking.

edit: remember with a FWD you will get lift off oversteer as teh back goes light, my mate had a bad accident at snetterton a few years ago involving a civic type-r and a caterham!
