My MX5 turbo

Had this a while as a couple of members know.

Refered to it in the kit car build thread so thought I better introduce it.

Lovely clean shell and tasteful bodykit. 1.6 turbo with GT28RS and MiataLink ecu. Was running 201hp at the hubs at 1.5 bar until the last owner turned the boost up and blew the engine.

We have just put in a good standard engine and it is due to be remapped at actuator pressure.

Is that cream leather ? Very pimp

I've always loved MX5s and having a bit extra ooompphh definitely is a good thing.

That said do the vents in the bumper really make much difference ?!!?

Yes Gareth 250hp/T does make an MX5 more appealing doesn't it.

Cream leather is nice, but not 'me' so is going. Must have cost someone lots to have done.

Doorcards are already gone!

Centre vents direct at top fins of Koyo alloy rad so must help. Nearside feeds the air filter, offside just feeds air into engine bay to help blow hot air out of the back where the bonnet is raised slightly. All functional
