Great to see you all yesterday, and good to have the full range of track conditions by the end of the day

The new-to-me MX5 went well in the corners, but after years of 4WD I have a bit of learning to do. My old scoob was awesome on a wet track (Ben's would be too with geometry and a swap of brakes and tyres!) but honestly it didn't require that much skill on corner exit. With RWD in yesterday's conditions I was tending to back-off momentarily when the back twitched, only occasionally managing to smoothly drive through the slide. Anyone have ideas on fun learning opportunities, without spending 220-quid on an Andy Walsh day?

Wonder if there's a cheap venue somewhere suitable for a drift session, like we used to have at Snetterton...?

Norfolk Arena Andy. They hire it out for drifting and it costs around

i popped down with the lady friend to watch for a couple of hours after lunch, it looked very wet still when we arrived so i hate to imagine what it was like first thing in the morning!

just about the only car i recognised was the obvious APT evo and the morgan 8 thing that seems to ALWAYS be at trackdays at snetterton :)

i am planning to do a sunday at snetterton soon, probably the javelin event on the 23rd of march if anyone else from BP fancies it? the aim this year is to do all 6 events in the toyota sprint series and a couple of trackdays too. maybe i will even take my celica down the drag strip and see how fast it is in a straight line.

stay lucky :)

edit: it turns out my girlfriend's friend is a sponsor of the APT evo and also logan's white one! they went to school together and also worked together. small world innit!

Hi Andy

Would have been nice to have seen you but I was cold by 1pm ish so I bailed!

Maybe see you at the TSS sprints as I think a few of the lads on here are looking at the open class for that

One lap upto being blinded on corum. Basically maxed out on back straight - just over 180km, I eased off at 7000rpm - Red line is 8500 but avoided reving over 6500 during the day. Just a nice easy session to learn the car.

I still love the Impreza noise  A great way to get to know and trust the car Ben, and you certainly looked like you were enjoying the experience.
