Wrx Sti Type R V5
So now ready for my first trackday with this car - it's been 12 months of jobs. So what has been done since getting her.
Well to be honest when I first picked her up she was way too hardcore for daily use, too loud, clutch too track orientated, poor brakes......
So, this years seen
1. Exhaust replaced for Racebox rear and resonator centre pipe to reduce Db's.
2. Replacement of HKS induction with a new set up.
3. Replacement of paddle clutch to Exedy organic single and lightened flywheel.
4. Replacement of all four calipers newly refurbished by Godspeed.
5. Replacement of all four disks and matching pads.
6. Installation of Prosport oil temp,oil pressure and boost gauge.
7. Replacement of VF28 turbo with newer unit.
8. Fix to wiring loom.
9. Fitment of AS Performance Clubman baffled sump.
10, Fitment of uprated UJ knuckle and gear linkage mount.
11. Installation of eyelets for harnesses.
12. Fitment of new alarm.
13. Replacement of one rear bearing.
14. Fitment of 'customized' cooling system

15. Installation of new spare wheel.
16. installation of new rear floor.
17. Installation of new tool kit.
18. Realignment of glovebox.
19. Replacement of gear gaiter.
20. New carpets.
21. Fitment of STI coolant cap.
22. Fitment of JDM original rear speakers.
23. 1 x set of standard 16 inch 5 spoke track wheels with R888's.
24. 1 x set of standard 16 inch 5 spoke winter wheels with Nankangs.
25. 1 x set of 18 inch tyres.
26. Uprated fuel pump.
27. Replacement of intercooler pipes.
So that's it for one year
- reckon there's stuff I've forgotten. Gary and Danny's favorite Subaru 
Still got some potential jobs ...
1. Fit the re-circ adapter to the BOV.
2. Take Mikes advice and replumb oil system and fit catch tank.
3. Underside treatment by Stuart.

Nice work and progress, and I'm sure that the development and correction tells in the way that it drives. I'm looking forwards to seeing how you get on with the type R on the 19th..........I am sure that she'll serve you well

No, Mike, Gary had done one before, the dipstick tube came out clean and went back in perfectly. The boys got the old sump off and new on without removing any parts - only issue was separate which was a shot auxiliary belt and the wrong one got delivered.
