Had a successful day on the car today. Plan was to put it away in it's perma bag (de-humidified outside storage "bag") tomorrow as it's forecast to be dry so I had tom from Perfection round to detail the car (was in dire need as absolutley caked in body shop shite inside, boot and under the bonnet).

While Tom did that I set about putting the zircoflex heat shield under the bonnet to try and prevent any more paint issues (although now it's been prepped properly i think it will be fine.

So I've got a few more pics to post (which are shit as my blackberry must have the worst camera ever to be described as such) so thought I'd share.

Annoyingly, as I have the cylinders for the perma bag baking in the oven, I read the instructions as I've not used it for a couple of years and it says leave it 4-6 months from being painted before putting it the PB! FFS. So I may need to re think my winter storage.

If the perma bag option is not feasible due to the painting having just been done then quite frankly you'll just have to knock a few walls down and park the old girl in your living room....

Looks stunning by the way
[img] Q. If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you rather be stranded with....Ray Mears or Bear Grylls?

A. No question....Ray Mears....you could make a shit load more stew out of that tubby little fecker [/img]
