Evo X and VI winter wrap up

My last job of 2013; one of the Ross Sport fleet needed a thorough overhaul for it's 3 monthly check up and another Evo needed a quick once over prior to a customer collection.......

Jacked up as per Ross's requirements so that I can clean the chassis and wheel arches thoroughly

Alloys were like brake dust sanctuaries so they needed three hits with various wheel cleaning chemicals

All the recesses were cleaned and prepared to the same standard as the external areas

Cleaned and ready for wax

Waxed and reflecting nicely in the Winter sun

With the external work completed, I needed to move both cars as a neighbour had started a bonfire


Handy!! The resultant ash blew all over the cars (and everything else) from 1pm 'til 4pm, so the cars needed to be repeatedly wiped down and dusted.

Earlier in the day I'd given the VI a basic exterior valet



So with both exterior jobs completed, it was time to sort the interiors. The VI was another basic vacuum, air freshener, dust and tidy up with the X being given a different level of TLC

• Autosmart all purpose cleaners
• Autosmart and Car-Chem products for wheel cleaning
• Car-Chem for tar removal
• Angelwax for glass sealant
• Autosmart for carpets and mats
• Angelwax for interior plastics
• K-Wax for paint protection

Wow that Evo X looks fantastic in white and so clean underneath !

Personally though I love the Bride seats !! Want so much for the RX7 !!!!
