well I have decided to stop any engine mods til next year but have been busy with cosmetics...

..... I bought some bigger wheels and think they look much better..

today I was up at dawns crack to fit the vinyl trips I bought which really sets off the wheels....

hopefully over winter I will get another wing and front splitter...

well!!

despite winter I have been busy with the mods still by concentrating on the outside of the car...

I got hold of a set of colour coded door handles cos the black ones look nasty.

fitting them was a royal pain in the ass...

a little trip to London to collect another boot lid was done last week.....

I also received another splitter after the last one was damaged by the courier...

I plan to get the roof covered in vinyl to complete the colour scheme as shown in this dodgy phto editing lol....

also picked up a nice HKS SSQV :-)

really pleased with the progress on such a tight budget and I hope to do an engine transplant next year now I have decided to keep this car having done so much to her..

gave her a wash too.....

If the black handles you've removed are matt (i.e. unpainted) I may know someone who would want them (for beer tokens). Think I saw you/the car going through Salhouse ish a couple of weeks back.......and it reminded me to look in my shed for Impreza bits.......and then I forgot to post up that I had found them

Now I can't remember what was in the bag but pretty sure it's silicone hoses, some pads and an ARB but the ARB looks standard. All FOC if you're interested,

Thursday I am at APT so I'll chuck the bits in the van and you can come and have a look

Any thoughts about those black handles? Did you have the full set and where they unpainted?

What time will you be there from?
I only have three handles as one of the back doors had a silver one on.
Your more than welcome to have the three black ones?
I still need to take my drivers one off but I can do that this afternoon or thursday morning before meeting you.
they are unpainted matte finish

I'll be at APT from 9am until about 5pm so anytime you like. I am undersealing an Evo so may be in the middle of things when you get there, but I can soon get the bits for you (y)

Coming together nicely. It's amazing how something so small as door handles can alter the look of a car. Keep it up:thumbs:
