Red wine and a laptop
GTR seats are really desirable John as they are very good seats. I did many miles in my GTR and never got fatigued. The R32/33 ones with blue inserts should blend quite well, but they are quite pricey and rare. I wanted a pair of the later R33 GTR seats in my Stagea as the standard seats, although lovely and plush, were not that supportive.
I have a good bonnet for a Stagea as i was going to vent one for mine and paint it black to match all my other cars. Think it may be in your colour even!
Pop round to talk Stageas sometime and have a look.

That ^^^^^ has to be one of the best compromises that I've seen, in fact I suspect that most long haired general's could be persuaded that it was in fact a 'practical' family car/troop carrier and with a few RB tweaks could upset quite a few Porker owners on the way back from the morning school run....
[img] Q. If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you rather be stranded with....Ray Mears or Bear Grylls?
A. No question....Ray Mears....you could make a shit load more stew out of that tubby little fecker [/img]

Well after much deliberation it's gone again ! I had considered keeping it but as my current daily driver a VW Passat Diesel returns 55mpg I really struggled with 18 -25mpg on the Stagea even though it was bloody quick for a big car.
So I stuck the car up for sale and was suprised at how much interest I had in it.....anyway a 67 year old chap rang me about it who had previously owned a Stagea and wanted another one...so I sent him the before and after pictures of the car and was brutally honest with him about the condition of the car and the things I thought in my opinion needed doing but he was fine with it....
Infact I probably painted a slightly bleak picture of the car......anyway as the bloke was in Portsmouth it was a bit of a treck for him but I was going to Watford that weekend we agreed to meet at Watford which was a gamble as he hadn't seen the car in the metal.
Anyway he was good to his word as I we met up and he gave the car a really good going over.......he took it for a test drive and was really chuffed at how we and how smooth the car drove and within no time at all he was smiling from ear to ear...
He mentioned about the pictures I had sent him from the Pre Auto Genie work and the condition of the car after Auto genies magic were like a world apart he commented it didn't look like the same car...and he was right it was transformed from what it was.
His plans for the car was bigger turbo body kit etc etc apparently he has a spare room of bits to put on the car...
Anyway I'm sure I can give Stu much credit for turning what was the "SHED OF THE WEEK" into a nice little profit.

Well done on such a quick sale (and profit). Your comments are lovely to read John; so much so, can I use these as a testimonial on Facebook and my own site?
Will be interesting to see what the new owner does with it........wasn't a MASA kit was it? (R34)
