BOV/dump valve location?

Post by jap.slapper »

Where is the ideal place (aside from the dustbin for all BOV haters out there...) for the BOV's to be located in relation to the turbo inlet and TB's

I've seen them on the intake pipe leading to the turbo inlet and have also seen them located on the pipe directly feeding the TB's (post intercooler)?

Is there more benefit to be had from either of these locations as I'm reading conflicted opinions on this?

many thanks in advance

As close to the throttle butterfly as possible makes most sense to me, when it snaps shut and you go off throttle presumably that's the air will start to build up pressure.

But the bin... :) Free the pigeon!
