Another up date my mate text me at 9 tonight so off I went to carry on with the engine.

Started with this



Then fitted valve springs



And everything else on and in



And finally head on and torqued down finally gettin there

Not posted for ages but engine went in bit was always struggling to build this in a single garage.





So once engine was in decided to stop and just collect parts until I found some were more suitable.

Parts are

Carbs
Manifold
Exhaust
Radiator
Coolant hoses
Alternator
Starter motor
Clutch cable
Speedo cable

Lots more but can't remember it all

Then found my self a unit to move it to and start on it again





Much better with plenty of room

I then had it moved up there



In its new home. I took engine back out and swapped the sump with a genuine rs2k one and put back in and gear box in again. Since then have been building it up with starter on alternator on carbs on clutch cable in and then hear wrapped the exhaust manifold and got that in as well

Currently stand like this

Started puttin coolant hoses on tonight so can start looking at we're radiator needs to be mounted
