I'm seriously starting to get wound up by these monkeys now!!!

Supposedly a reliable company, who are using ebay as another means of supplying their customer base and it would appear that they don't actually hold that much of anything in stock and quite frankly they should not be allowed to sell kit that they don't actually have

I've just checked for the delivery detail for an update on when my hoses will arrive (just on the off chance that this company has managed to get their stock in order and actually send the hoses and pipes that I've paid them in full for....remembering that initially they reckoned I'd have to wait a full month and low and behold there was an update.....now expected delivery is 4th of friggin' November....WTF is that all about?!?

I now can't finish building the engine for another month....great, hopefully it will have started bloody snowing by the time these things turn up!

Can you not get your money back through ebay or paypal as that is totally f***ed up. If you have it in writing that delivery was expected within 1 month and it came in 6 weeks that one thing, but as they are only saying expected on the 4th Nov. surely they have to offer you the option of a full refund. Consumers rights or something like that.

I received a response to my sarcastic email earlier this morning which go's to 'explain' where the 'confusion' of the 4th November delivery date comes from....

"Hi, Ok so I think the confusion is because the item has been re-listed it is showing a current lead time for any new orders placed, your order was received on 20th September so should be due in around the 20th October. So not too far off now, we will advise once the goods leave though, thanks"

So I'm kind of stuck in a rut now because if they're saying it will be around the 20th October (though I note the 20th October is when it is 'due in' so that could mean back in stock as opposed to on my door step!) either way it's at the stage where it's almost easier to just sit and wait.

It's only several metres of 16mm and 8mm hose (in regular SAMCO blue) so not entirely sure why that would not be kept in stock and if it's out of stock (which would be fair enough) then you just don't advertise it for sale and available to buy and you certainly don't take more orders until it is back in stock?

Anyway not really worth me bleating on about it anymore.....time to go drink my brew and stand by the zed and stare!!!

Well there you go, it would appear that on occasion spitting out your dummy whilst simultaneously throwing your teddy in the corner does produce results!!

24hrs after their reply, a parcel turned up in the post....I now have my hoses and pipes

Fitting them now.....fingers crossed

Venting angst, kicking off and (occasionally) slagging off couriers etc can always help.

Look forward to the update
