His FD is a good example of how a car can be developed effectively over time. It would be interesting to know how much it's cost him over the years to get it to where it is now
[img] Q. If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you rather be stranded with....Ray Mears or Bear Grylls?
A. No question....Ray Mears....you could make a shit load more stew out of that tubby little fecker [/img]

He actually lives not to far from Alan. The thing is when he started in Time Attack his car was already running 400+bhp.
The main difference in costs is your starting point for example
Ronnie Amis 3dr Cosworth - Tntracing
Had car for approx. 6 yrs - Bought base car and base engine
Had approx 360 bhp - Had to build base engine
Upgraded & developed car - Worked out & sorted problem
Don't get me wrong i'm not saying he's had it easier or spent less but it all depends on your starting point.

It must be a slippery slope for all of you guys. 400hp in an FD3 is easy enough (figuratively speaking) but getting the FD3 to produce that reliably and repeatedly takes a lot more money- like any turbo car I guess.
Club class can't see many cars that don't have more than 25k in them.

I agree.....though I think some of us are a bit slow on the uptake

Just checked that link and it's all there. Sometimes the site plays up and won't display the info.
Took me a while to get to grips with it, so just in case.
1 click on the date of the round & not the timetable
2. click pdf file icon on right hand side opposite Time Attack
The only round that is not under time attack was Donnington
http://www.tsl-timing.com/brscc/2013/133731tat.pdf
Croft was not covered by TSL Timings and as far as I know there is no info on times except on the Time Attack website.
http://www.timeattack.co.uk/index.ph...p-points-table
Just hover the mouse over the round you want and the times drop down. Croft was round 2.
