model railway
At least with it in the Attic you shouldn't have to move it again and it will make plenty of noise up there so you won't be able to hear your other half calling you either...
I was looking back over the thread and watched your video......I noticed many of the trains had the pantographs up but no overhead lines.......I had a set when I was a kid where we had working overhead lines can you still get them ? would really look good with them built in too...

yes you can still get them mate but there very expensive when you need
a few hundred of them:D
I will be making up my own stanchions and overhead wires but this will
be one of the last things to be done as once there up you don't want to knock
them as they get bench out of shape.
this is another video I made a while back of my beloved 2 APT sets, full length BR HST and a class 50 on freight.

today been working on the frame, struggled to work out how to start the
frame off this morning but once I had actually woken up after 4 cups
of tea I was on my way
the first 2 pics is going to be the first half of my new station area.
this is 4 foot wide, big ass station going in:drool5:

against the brick wall that is a 2foot wide section.
