[quote="Stuart"]Ha!
You childish? Never!! :DQUOTE]

anyway, it's not true - I resisted Ryans offer of a "pop bang" map as a standalone setting on the dial that would do just that, with a load of dialled in flamage too haha.

But only becasue my car does way too much of that anyway :D:D

At least the ID injectors give you an excuse for your car looking the way that it does :D (i.e covered in soot because you never clean it) Billet turbos..............man, good to see you still committed to the GTR :thumbs:

So hoping all is ready for Dave's Opentrack day at Snett on Sunday.

I've been out trying to "bed in" the new brakes as the AP Engineer I spoke to said that getting the discs up to full heat properly really makes a difference to their performance/longevity. I can't really see it myself - the AP instructions seem a bit OTT - as I was careful with the last set but the were crazed and heat spotted pretty much straight away.

Still, he probably knows more about it than me so I'm doing what I'm told. Will also be gentle with them on the first sessions on sunday, which will be very frustrating.

Otherwise it's first outing on the new front springs which will be really interesting, plus the solid diff bushes, and also the completely new hicas replace kit and replacement of all rear suspension rose joints (since the proper first outing turned out to be about 7 laps!!) Interestingly one of RJs on the DW kit ALREADY has play in it so they're sending me a new one. GTR has an appetite for RJs as big as it has for VPower :(

Good news is that Malc will be there and has offered me his spare Data Logger which is very kind of him. It's also great as if I can get the brakes bedded properly and start to really cane the car it would be great to see if the above mods make a difference.

Fingers, as ever, are crossed
