Driving down the A47 heading towards Peterborough (from Norwich direction) leading a convoy of cars to the Slam Media meet. Came round the Swaffham RaceWay roundabout,as we came off the roundabout the girlfriend starts shouting that theres smoke coming from the engine and she saw flames through the hole in the bulk head. By the time I had stopped, the inside of the car was full of smoke and smoke was pouring from the sides of the bonnet. The convoy of cars stopped behind and a couple of people ran towards the car with a fire extinguisher and put it out. By the time I had stopped an Ambulance was heading in our direction and pulled up a few car lengths infront. Minutes later a Police Traffic car had also drove past and turned round to help keep flow of the traffic.

With everyone off the side of the road the police put cones out to divert the traffic while I waited for recovery. Got it back home and left it on the drive way,i'll start to look at it during the week as I was just too pissed off to do anything with it tonight.

Not good. Although not irrepairable. Just glad that everyone was alright and that people do carry extinguishers.

Thats not good mate. Thankfully no one was hurt and it was put out quickly. Just hope it's not going to be too costly to get sorted.
