Well on the hottest day of the year I decided to get my car out of the garage and work on it doing a few of the jobs I had left as long as possible.

First up making up a line to link the coolant sensor to the connector on the alternator loom...Connected in ok.

Secondly the battery lead from the enginebay through the car (under the carpet) into the boot and into a box.........I made the mistake of listening to people recommend 0AWG wire.......this is like industrial cable !! :) But after a bit of soldering the positive lead was made and threaded through the car.....managed to sneak it down the same hole as the loom as the new one of these is much much smaller. Very neat and tidy !

Also make up a negative lead to one of the seat belts....

Then after much jigging and poking and cutting and swearing and carving skin off my fingers I ended up with the battery box fitted, the cable connected via a breaker into where the battery is....

Quite neat and tidy I think and am pleased with it......have I tested it before putting all the trim back......errr no ! Waiting on Dom to help me with a connector (hint hint)

Anyway other little jobs included making a bracket for the HKS Twin Spark, fitting the new solenoid through the car for the Greddy Profec Spec B 2 etc. plus a load of other fiddly bits like bolting connectors up etc.

The other things to sort are the exhaust downpipe to the mid pipe, getting the intake connectors (will pop to SCA tomorrow), getting a few connectors welded onto an intake pipe (Dom who did you go to for your dumpvalve please?) then fill the blooming thing with oil and coolant. Thats probably all the remaining bits at the moment....scary !

Feeling shattered, every bit of me aches so relaxing with a bbq and a shandy :D
