Not to mention the fact that the red pulleys wont go with his yellow pipes

Your right mate it wouldn't have been my choice looks like blood and custard under my bonnet. ....However changes are afoot ...... going to get some different wheels and the carbon bonnet at the weekend. ..... so your pullies are safe for now....

Small update, its coming back together slowly....

This pic makes it look cleaner and in better condition than it really is.

Tomorrow Dom is helping me with the fuel lines and checking they dont leak. I really hope not !!

I knew I should have broken into your garage and had those pulleys away they look sweet.....
Black and red a good combination but red and black is better

yeah I agree, they look great even if they have proved abit of a nightmare!

Fingers crossed for tomorrow when we fire up the fuel pump... If it catches alight...there was a leak right ?! ;-)

Dont even joke Dom !!! Seriously dont joke !!

Connected the intake manifold up so I could put the connectors on for the TPS and IAT just to stop any errors coming from those. Have connected the grounds for the HKS Twinspark and also the loom one just to make sure its ok.

Now pumping 1 and a half year old petrol round the fuel lines should be ok shouldnt it ? I was planning on draining it before firing it up. Thoughts ?

John, they do look pretty good dont they

Still waiting on the one to come from the US though and then the fun of trying to get the belts on !!!

Thoughts !! Keep fire extinguisher handy....Mobile handy with 999 on speed dial ?

Seriously mate you should be fine ! Might be worth grounding out the HT side of the ignition so you don't get any random sparking....

Haha sorry mate, however I am glad I said it as its reminded me I have a fire extinguisher. Better safe than sorry mate

I would post on FDUK about the fuel, I dont know how long it takes to go bad. Also how recently did you change your fuel filter?

Also if you havent got that much fuel in the tank, could we put more in to dilute the old stuff before we fire up the pump?
