Everyone will need full resto though .. would have thought unused engines would be just as bad as thrashed ones.

not nessasarily mate I know of people over the years who have bought old american pig iron that hasn't been started for years and with fresh petrol and a battery they have fired up and run sweet......changed the oil and ran for years with no issues.
You have to realise much of the old american v8 engines are quite crude and the engineering tolerances and nothing like modern cars....

True true - what a find - shame the pickup with 1 mile on the clock has had something fall on the roof !!! ..
