Looks like a good day. That in-car shot of Mad Mike was shot by FDUK's very own Ali, who was lucky enough to get a passenger ride! Ali was doing drift taxis in a Matte black rx7 later in the day.

Sounds Like a great day out. If it hadn't been for the GTR eating it's gearbox i'd have come along.

Stu, interesting comments. It sounds like the weather was bad which no doubt affected numbers but is ML losing it's appeal? I think it's an interesting event - all the Chav comments are true enough, and through 3 years of heading to TA with Team Whifbitz I'm well aware of the quality of Chav that it attracts.

However, events only survive by the number of paying spectators they can attract so without the chavs there would be no ML, which would be a shame.

What I've always found tricky to relate is the several hundred grands worth of race car competing in Pro, and the Chav audience who jump in their Corsa and head home, via a wheelspin at McDonalds (just to stereotype haha).

But I'd hate to see any form of "grassroots" event slowly die

I don't think this is grass-roots mate and I think that is half of the issue. When the average car in club costs

I used to be one of those corsa boys you are referring to. We all started somewhere. You don't just suddenly own a 400bhp car without going through some shit first.
