Glad you guys had fun. Sorry i couldn't be there to play out there with you.

Russ could your revving out be something to do with different gearing with the 16's compared to the 18's or are they set up with tyre to give the same radius?

When are you doing the Pod? Japshow?

Hello Stuart, to answer your question Where the Hell do you find 600mm (2 foot) Copper balls? In very big storage tanks, but I bet they are all plastic now

Daniel, I tried to match your Track presence and speed but must confess that I failed miserably

Cheers Mike look forward to seeing your new creation in the flesh

Nice word Russ and thanks for the link, interesting to see how far the "Rigid Suspension" has moved on cornering in Ole Yella maybe the cornering effort rather than the tyres caused the tyre squeal

It is a shame you weren`t there eddy. Its been awhile since we have had battle with the metro.:coolgleamA:
I haven`t even looked at what dates to go to the pod yet. I heard a rumor that dan might be sorting something out?;)
The problem with the old wagon`s box is its very short gearing. 140mph = 7k rpm in 5th gear. In years gone by marham used to be frustrating because of this. I would get on the runway and know that 140mph was going to be my lot. I had never hit those sort of speeds round snetterton until last week. Although i don`t think i will bother rushing out to change the box/diff just yet as i think my brakes really need addressing first. Seems little point going even faster when i am struggling to haul the bugger up now.:)
