As said before mate its a nice looking car.

Doing the headlights is a ballache if you are particularly fussy, just remember when you have loosened them to shut the bonnet properly otherwise you'll never get them level. Also be careful when opening the bonnet again in case they catch on it. Oh and finally be very careful as the brackets on the covers are rubbish from new, let alone having a bit of heat from the enginebay on them :)
Have fun !!

Well not exactly a secrity device but it works as one and also I needed to bring the steering wheel out a bit as my left knee kept hitting it when changing gear so this actually solves two problems for me....

Thanks Again Dom much appriciated.

Also did a little bit of cleaning and polishing...

Glad the boss went to a good home John. When you pulled off I thought how quiet your car is as well, I really cant see you having any issues noise wise on any track.

On Saturday I had a marathon road trip on the persuit of car bits.....5am start and off to just north of newcastle for collect a set of spare wheels for the Rex.....They were cheap but need a refurb so dropped them off at BA wheels this am.
After picking up the wheels I thought it would be rude not to pop in and see my mate Jurgen (JM-Imports) especially as I was so close.....a very warm greeting from Jurgen and a guided tour round his new premises..... very impressive too....this bloke is going places.....then the covers came off his 1156bhp GTR oh I love that car and I haven't seen it in the flesh for about 4 years so it was good to see what he has done to it and some of the little touches......it really is a stunning piece of work......

Jurgen is also starting to stock more and more jap parts so might be worth considering when anyone needs anything.
Anyway got back on the road and headed south to Stockton upon Tees....to pick up what I personally think is a stunning carbon bonnet as per attached photo's.

The guy I got the bonnet from is about to get busy shoehorning an LS1 engine into an MX5 it was in his RX7 but after a few issues with the car it got broken up and now he's starting his new project.....sadly the MX5 is only going to be a drag car I personally would love to see it as a road car.

Got home at about 17:00 so 12 hours out and about 660 miles and a very enjoyable day

To help with keeping underbonnet temps down I thought I would treat myself to this.......I know its not going to appeal to everyone but I love it personally......It needs a bit of tweaking to get it all aligned properly....so I spoke to Chris at H tec today and I will be dropping it off with him later this week just to get everything aligned properly....
