But if it does need a re-build it gives me an excuse to go to 3.8 litres and 9e20 conversion.

The engine didn't need a re-build thank god and i picked up the car last Monday.

It is a bit of a monster and i'm loving it.

I had a play at Santa Pod and i managed a best of 11.2 @ 129mph

I think there is a 10sec run in it with a bit of practice and some better tyres.

am using pilot sports at normal pressures. think with some cups or 888 with lowered pressures and a bit more pressure a 10 is there.

Loving the tiptronic box. its loads faster now it been upgraded and is meant to be indestructible at my power level.

Oooooooooooooooo :troll: I always worry about making claims like that online (or anywhere else) Stu, just incase the tuning gods are watching and waiting to trip us up!! 9e seem to have a great reputation and I know you 'rate' them too, so I hope I'm worrying about nothing.

Would be interesting to see what someone like Webster's would make of your tyre choice and pressure recommendations..........

They seem to have a hand in many of the seriously quick drag cars that I know from John Bradshaw's Zed to Big Fils Mustang and Martin Smith's 8 second GTR etc etc etc

Yeah that should find some time. Are you still on for June 5th at Snett? Now I have only got the alignment to do I'm gonna book, (wanted to make sure rear end repairs (ooh er) didn't turn into a nightmare) so will be good to get out with a few people.
