Ford Fair - August 11th

Track time has been booked:driving:
This year they are running on the national circuit. Was hoping it would be the GP circuit again as I wanted to see if the car would of hit 150mph down the Hanger Straight:willy_nilly:

Been booked for an overnight car prep for this event! Should be an interesting job and I hope helps the owner get some decent coverage at the event, although with so many really decent cars there, the owner is realistic about standing out!

Interesting.....i'm sat here thinking what nice fords are in your neck of the woods.
You said overnight, so that could be anywhere. What model of ford is it?

Focus RS
The overnight bit will be 'start the work' go home and then 'finish the work' when I go back

The guy is localish to me (40 miles)

Don't think i've ever seen these rules on a track day.

Drivers
• All drivers must be 18 or over.
• All drivers must be at least 4’10″ tall.
• All drivers must have a full driving license and must be able to display both parts on the day of the event.
• All drivers must attend a briefing before going out on track.
• Helmets are compulsory and a limited supply can be hired from Silverstone.
• Drivers must have arms & legs covered at all times whilst driving, no overalls will be available for hire on the day.
• Seatbelts are compulsory.
• Drivers must sign an indemnity and fill in all relevant track paperwork before going out on track.
• No hand held cameras allowed in cars when on circuit

Passengers
• Only front seat passengers are permitted.
• Passengers must be 18 or over.
• All passengers must be at least 5’2″ tall.
• Helmets are compulsory.
• Passengers must have arms and legs covered at all times whilst in the car, no overalls will be available for hire on the day.
• Seatbelts are compulsory.
• Passengers must sign an indemnity before going out on track.

Tickets have arrived:hurray: All except one. The one that tells us where we'll be parked when not out on track as were not on a club stand this year;)

2011 we were on the Fast Ford Magazine stand. Which was ok.

This year I felt we needed to up our game. So after some discussions and emails at the start of the year I managed to sort something out which is not normally available to the general public at Ford Fair.

2013 we will be in a pit garage
