Going well so far then

Hope it turns out better than mine so make sure you get it up in the air and inspect those sills at the earliest possible opportunity if you haven't done so already (check the box sections around the jacking points; rear of the sills are more important than the fronts).

First tank averaged 37.4 mpg! Really pleased as that's a proper mix if driving ( done from brim and fuel used calculation as car does nt have OBC.

Right, another slightly frustrating day with the mine field that is second hand parts!
I managed to find someone about 15 minutes from home breaking a few BM's. He confirmed he had lights suitable for my car, so whizzed across central Essex after my course to the border with Herts to get these lights. Very helpful guy gave me several parts for free. I trundled home and decided to tackle the shitty gluey mess that are my headlights.
My cars previous owner had "blessed" my car with halos, and judging by the look they must have cost at least

New plates & side repeaters on, somewhat strange as nothing broke in the process. New headlamps tomorrow and then rust proofing and assessment of front bushes as it's a bit fidgety. Probably a worn bush.

Not much to add today, but the mats arrived and I've finished the first stage of de-blinging the interior. (Again, I apologise, this is a record of work done for me as much as anything.......) from this
