Anyone else watching American Le Mans series...
..on Motors TV. It's Round 2 at Longbeach CA. How fucking mental are those cars on a street circuit?? Seriously awesome
Yeah........watched some of the F1 and all of the Moto Gp so it's just as well Tan isn't here otherwise I'd have missed it all (every cloud and all that)

I prefer their relevance (in broad terms).......they still look a bit like a car and are sort of based on things that can be bought in a showroom so I'm with you there.

Agreed on both counts, Moto GP lads are proper loons and properly skilled, V exciting stuff.
Agree that appeal of GT cars stems from relation to "showroom" but also really good racing - not "faked" with daft tyre rules and DRS etc etc, just a long race, with similar cars, fastest man/team who has the best bit of luck on his side wins. Simples
