Well I usually get footage on the gopro but because I can never be arsed to work out what to do with it - i.e cut it down to a lap or two so it's not like watching paint dry - and bung it on youtube it never happens.

However, Malc is threatening to rig his gear up so as long as the footage isn't like that maureen bird off driving school I "may" post some of that - once edited to make me look like the stig of course

Maxx will upload the footage to Youtube anyway mate, you may as well man up and bask in the glory of the undiluted video

Sounds like a good quote for the work and, as you say, it's highly likely that the results will be good if they are recommended by Richard; should be epic :) I like the way you get it repainted before you start throwing your car through gravel traps on Tuesday :)

Good chance that the recent warm weather will pass over the weekend buddy, with Tuesday's weather looking like 13 degrees partly sunny with a shower

Hope it goes well for you (piss taking aside) and I hope that your investment in proper coaching pays off, both in terms of development and lap times/fun too. If I weren't going to the Midlands I would be there, so I'll be relying on a good write and plenty of video ;)

I'd only upload something with the drivers consent, most uploads are unlisted so not visible/available to potential racing competitors, works well as can be shared if required :)

If someone is happy for me to post publicly I will, I have a good number of subcribers that love this stuff :)

Hand on heart, I can say that it's better money spent than any car modification!
Just beware of Malc grabbing the wheel as you pilot your ride into the esses at well over a ton :willy_nilly:
Cheers Jon :)
I "usually" warn the driver in advance these days, something along the lines of "i'm just going to HELP you with the wheel", I use the say something like" just going to grab the wheel and guide you through here" whereupon a certain Caterham driver decided to let go as we were going up through Surtess into Clearways at Brands, luckilly it was a small wheel!

That's a fair point though I suppose it could go either way mate.

The vid may show other competitors that your driving skills are above and beyond anything that mere mortals could achieve, even with an entire lifetime in the driving seat.

Their subconcious ingrained with thoughts of "Hell no....Ben Collins has got nothing on this Christian chap"

Completely demoralised they call with a feeble whimper

"Dorris!!!! Don't fucking bother, get the car off the trailer and put it back in the garage.....I might as well hang up my racing boots now!"

or more than likely
