Apex Festival May 18th and 19th Lydden Hill

Spoke to Russ tonight and in his excitement he told me about the forthcoming motorsports and social weekender that is the Apex Festival, down in Kent

The event itself sounds like a great mix of track time, top cars, music, gorgeous food and all backed up by a relaxed vibe

Yes it means leaving Norfolk so some of you yocals may get a nosebleed, but they do let you in and out of the county without a passport these days so you'll be alright

It's top value for money if you pay in advance, there will be some of the proper Berg Cup cars there (we have been assured of this) and I expect a few of our VW fans to be making the trip so if you want to join in check out the full details here

Is this just a VW event? Not as in gaining entrance but as in the overall show?

No mate, although it was definitely orientated that way a few years ago when they started it. The owners/organisers stressed that they want the most diverse gathering of car nuts possible

I spoke to the organizers yesterday and they said that although they were a vw focused group they would dearly love this event to be known for its broad spectrum of marks. The main focus is the track action and keeping a family friendly atmosphere off it.
Emma is proper keen to go and we feel it would be great if we could get a small group of us bigpower members together for weekend road trip.
One of the guys I spoke to yesterday said that if we could get a group booking of ten (or more) We would get our own pitch with a private loo and key!:)
So is anybody else on here interested?
