The E30s do have a purity about them, but so far well pleased with this. There are loads of little jobs to do to get this respectable, but for the money it seems good value.
I've looked at the wheels today, they seem in good condition albeit in the wrong colour to my eyes. I've given them a brief rub back, and the original silver seems to be intact. I'll get some more done tomorrow, and am also going to see a breaker in Hertfordshire, so might have the headlights, indicators, badges, switches and trims. (Hell I might even have the window regulators :) )
Got the new plates made up today, so they can go on too.
The cars got a large and apparently expensive intake system on it which is new. It's damn loud on full throttle, and I'm not entirely sure it's my cup of tea. I may well out it for a standard airbox. Time will tell on that one.

Special price for you Trev ;) . Had a disappointing day with the old girl today. The eBay breaker never came back to me, so I have to put up with the Halfords Chav lights etc for longer. The wheel brace is missing, so getting the wheels off was harder than it should have been ( not helped by them being done up by king kong with an air gun & no copperease.) Then found signs of welding in the sills ( to be expected I guess, but missed it whilst checking in the pissing rain when I looked at the car) not too bad though. I managed both off side wheels before dinner, before being disturbed by an unusual alarm from outside. Imagine my joy to find half the street pointing at the "new" car making a god awful racket. It would not turn off, but thankfully the car still started, so the unbranded Thai alarm did nt seem to be linked to an immobiliser. Frustrated by an unending din I cut through the feed with some snips- pure delicious silence. So other than that, wicked!

Wheels done (Not the best of jobs but never get anytime as usual!), badges ordered, off to GSF tomorrow for a wheel bolt (as I've found the cars only got 19!!) and some other bits. Done 150 miles to 1/4 of a tank so it's doing well on Jungle juice too :)

150 miles is more like a third of a tank buddy but it's still not bad. Onwards and upwards Bertrand; a great car for the money mate, you've done well :)
