Pissed Off but not as much as Chris
Well after what seems to have been a lifetime this is all finally coming to a conclusion not the conclusion we originally wanted but hopefully by the end of the week Chris can move on and start a new project.
Basically after lots of faffing about by the insurance company and them dragging their heels and constantly needing to be chased even with a revised quote using some 2nd hand spares etc they still deemed it too expensive to repair economically....
They have made a very good offer for the car which we have decided to take we did have the option to buy it back which was tempting however it would have left us with the aggro of getting it fixed ourselves or breaking it for parts and with the offer made we decided not to bother.
Although I rang the insurance company this morning and asked if we could keep the bucket seats out of the car and they said aslong as we put the originals back they were happy with that....
So all being well good payout and Chris will be back on the road in a rear drive turbocharged car very very soon...

I'm sure that Chris will be pleased to have put all of this behind him. I have a feeling that the whole process was made immeasurably smoother thanks to your help, support and influence so I reckon he owes you a pint or three
(Sorry Chris, but credit where it is due mate)

Josh won't be drifting anything at the moment as after 4 weeks of ownership he has managed to kill the clutch.....Although no suprise judging by some of the messages I have had about how my old car is being driven....Stuart wrote: I reckon he owes you a pint or three(Sorry Chris, but credit where it is due mate)
I will look forward to him buying me those drinks.....
