Well the PC rekkons the sound is fine. Loose wire? Tried some headphones?

Don't laugh mate but have you got the master volume set to mute at all ? Should be in control panel then sound and something settings.

Cheers for all the help. I've bought new speakers and wires with connectors. I'll get Alan to open it up to see if theres a loose connetion inside. After i've tried his headphones as i don't have any.

Worth checking the sound in the control panel though mate before Al gets over. If its that then you'll give him ammo for years :)

Make sure nothing has the mute ticked. Seems odd you don't get the speaker in the icons next to the clock

Have done mate. The damn things been playing up for a while, keeps crashing.
