Quick Update

I have finally saved my pennies (Porsche tuning isn't cheap) and the gearbox is coming out of the car and being sent to Germany for a re-build and strengthening as we speak.

I land in UK 14th May and will collect the car fully converted. I have asked for pictures to be taken and will have the full spec sheet soon so i will update the thread as and when i get info sent to me.

In the meantime i'll carry on working on this rig in Malaysia and count down the days.

I saw this and thought of you Mr Beales. Ignore the rude boy setting, the noise is quite amusing :)

Good work, we'll have to try and co-ordinate a TD or two once you're back.

UPDATE = BAD NEWS

Just been told that the head gasket has failed on bank #2

They don't know the cause yet but even if it is just the gasket i am still looking at a 3500 bill :banghead:

Worse case scenario is it will require a re-build and i dread to think what that will cost.

But if it does need a re-build it gives me an excuse to go to 3.8 litres and 9e20 conversion.
