Holly shit its been over a year since i last posted on this thread!!
Ok so its because ive done bugger all on the old girl.
So today i had Tim over to do a bit of work on her and try and suss out why its running so bad.
He started by replacing the turbo (again) He then spotted that the factory fuel reg was leaking slightly so he popped home to pick up a spare he had for a new age which we then had to mod slightly to fit.
New turbo on we took her up the road and it was running worse than ever! So back home again tim decided to whip the coils out and have a check...They were fine, So he whipped a plug out and done a compression check, That was excellent at 160.
The last thing he tried was to remove the bailey dump valve and block off the pipe. We then tried it up the road again and it was much better but still spluttering under full throttle.
His thoughts are now along the same line as mine were right back at the start in that its probably the mapping thats out. Possibly due to the dump valve starting to leak air when it was mapped??
So i still have `ol yella running badly and now have to buy another twin piston dump valve (not Bailey!) and then try and get hold of Duncan to have a look at whats going on with the mapping side of things. Fingers crossed i will then be able to get the other jobs done and actualy get some much needed track relief in!:)
