Front bumper test fits - Evo 7

Post by blacky »

Right chaps, all comments welcome.

After mashing my bumper slightly last season I've been on the look out for a new Evo 7 bumper and wondered what an aftermarket one would look like, well last week whilst up at APT I had the chance to test fit a couple.

Whatcha reckon?

No.1

Not mad keen on either if I'm honest. Gary's one only really works with the wide arches IMO

Have to agree with the above however perhaps if someone could cleverly photoshop it so as they are white it might give a clearer impression.
Also surely its not just about the look but the aero advantage ?

If i had to choose between the two, I would go for the black one.

I think the black one would look good if it was white :)

The first one is pony but I like the black one, albeit in white of course. You realise that this will prompt new wings etc ;)

Like you say- it wouldn't end there... Voltex-sytle endplates and canards to finish the front, either modding the top of the bumper or fitting a 9 bonnet, matching side-skirts, something at the rear, and finally a larger trailer to tow it on because the current one would only leave a 1 inch gap either side and he'd never get the car up on it with the bumper on.
Finishing off the Ford ;)

So he needs a lorry then. And a new house or a unit to store it all.........I can almost hear Logan sucking through his teeth from here :)
