I have to say the waste gate chatter is addictive at least its pumped back through the exhaust as I would dread to think how loud it would be with a screamer pipe...

That was just the turbo spooling, you can hear it even more now the car has been brought down to track legal noise levels.

When I bought the car it had a very small silencer on the mid pipe and the wastegate wasent plumbed in. It didnt even have a screamer pipe it just had a flange from the external wastegate...

Driving the car fully lit, the noise was amazing, addictive and something that no other car would produce. It was something that I will never forget, unfortunately it would never pass the noise tests at snett so I have had to castrate it. I think everyone who runs a single should run a screamer pipe, just once... it really is an orgasm for your ears!

Chris, I love your previous post mate. Currently my car is up in the air having some work done and its not going as well as I would like. However, reading your post banishes the thoughts of me wanting to sell the 'fduking thing' and just reminds me how bloody good they are to drive and the buzz you get.

Mine is up in the air today having the mid silencer fitted four new tyres and a wheel alignment. ...looking forward to feeling comfortable with it.
