New addition

Post by Nik »

I just thought I would put up some pics of the new addition to the fold.

It is a 1995 Mitsubishi RVR 2.0 litre NA 4WD

It will be Sarahs daily driver for work so that she doesn't keep racking up the miles on the Gtr and I can have it back ;)

Not particularly relevant I know but here goes .

How much leg room in the back?

Not seen one of those before. I'm guessing its an import? Bloody practical MPV. I take it the BMW is going up for sale then?

Yes, Yes and Yes Rob :).

I have been told that now she has the RVR, we have too many vehicles so I need to get rid of one and the Gtr is definitely not going anywhere and the van has to stay so the BMW is the one to go :(

Random old bus :) Plenty of room I guess and unlikely to get it confused in a car park ;)

Haha, yeah it is a random old bus. EVO engine (of sorts) and EVO running gear.

It's rarity was the main reason for buying it. Sarah wanted something 4wd to get to work in whatever the weather but she wanted something that you don't see a lot of on the roads. There were only 2 for sale on t'internet so this ticked the boxes. I thought it would take her a while to get used to it as it's not a sporty thing but she loved it as soon as she got in it. :)

As far as the BM goes it has MOT until August I think but no tax. 2 new front tyres albeit cheap ones. Cone filter, front strut brace, I put new shocks and springs on it about 18 months ago which are height adjustable and I have a stainless exhaust that will need fettling to fit on it as it comes from a tourer but it's just a case of moving brackets.

I'm not after a fortune for it as it is tatty but road legal. It will need front discs and pads as they started scraping apparently while I was away in Canada. For someone who wants a cheap track hack it would be a good start.

If anyone feels like making me an offer of what they think it's worth you are more than welcome to. I haven't really thought of a figure yet as I was going to take the stereo and changer out and then put it up for sale but if somebody wants it with them in thats fine.
