Yep, should be an interesting year- first season with the new "Car of the Future" regs, the return of Nissan (and possibly Merc?), and Casey Stoner taking part in the Dunlop Series and possibly doing Bathurst.

Also, I remember reading on their Youtube channel that they're in discussion with the Broadcasters in showing all races in their entirety online and in much better quality than before for the International audience (granted they began doing this last year, but the footage quality was painfull to watch). No more waiting a week for short highlights on Motors TV. :)

Clipsal 500 and the start of V8 Supercars 2013! From what I can see, Motors TV won't be showing it 'til Saturday 9th March @ 11:05am, so I'll be keeping an eye out for full-race footage on Youtube over this weekend. :D

Clipsal 500 this weekend.

http://www.clipsal500.com.au/

Motors TV seems to have clawed back a little dignity with a couple of live rounds, some delayed in full and 8 highlights packages.

The Official Youtube channel had a lot of the races in full uploaded to it:

And Bathurst live, but there is not a lot of info about, so chances of a live Clipsal are slim.

The reigning champs irreverence remains intact despite a switch in title sponsors:

The line about the Nissan made me chuckle.

cant wait.

Maybe you guys should get into with Paul Gooda (goodap on here). Paul's been based out there for some time now and he may be able to provide some valuable and/or interesting insights into what's going on, what's available to poms and maybe even help with a trip to watch if you wanted to go out there?

He's a top lad in any event so well worth linking up with him

Only just found this on the official site- they're offering full online streaming via a subscription service for this year. They're showing this first race as a free Beta test, so it'll be interesting to see what it's like.

Qually/Race 1 has already been and gone (nothing on the Youtube channel yet), but Qually and Race 2 are due on early Sunday morning (over here)-

Qualifying 2- 11:05 CDT, which equates to 00:35am for us.
Race 2- 14:35 CDT, which equates to 04:05 for us.
