The 52.5 could have been bettered had Suzuki's turn in not have been affected by the Rex, but even so that's a pretty incredible time by anyone's standard. As for the near miss!! Do you reckon that it was the camera angle that made it appear much closer or was it really rubbing paint?

Great clips and a lovely capture of a fantastic car and driver story. How much quicker would it go with a pro driver in the seat?

Great result for the car, looks pretty hideous with all that aero on but certainly does the job and sounds incredible !!
