Monster wrote:Yeah the paddle upgrade was a good call, and i thought you'd say it was cos you liked the csl 'box so hope it works out how you expect. Totally with you on the auto mode for day2day! Personally I've never tried a flappy paddle, i bought an e46 m3 with a manwell over a csl because of the bad press the paddle shift got - what a mistake!!! haha.

def up for some donny action, subject to solving my diff leak / buying a less aggressive one. 15 CSLs? you mean 15 mobile chicanes :smilielol5: **that was a joke, I've seen those pedalled properly before....
There will be atleast 2 that can hustle well round Donny not sure about the rest, just hope i'll have learnt the car by then lol....

Yes Shimmy will be there, it will be a good day aslong as the weather holds up!

I'm sure your GTR will show most things there the way to go!

The car still hasn't been converted but it will have been by the time i get back to UK in May. Hope to do the opentrack Snett day in June.

Here are a couple of youtube clips of the car and i at Oulton and Donnington and a clip with its new exhaust on it.

That Oulton video was so impressive and I was nearly so impressed that I failed to notice your turn ups on the gloves  ;)

The way your car swallowed up that R33 GTR @ Oulton was just crazy! Nice to see you so well dialled into the car already :) Nice to see the old clip from Snett too with the respective M's doing there stuff (Mad to think that's over three years now)

What's wrong with rolled up gloves ? lol my arms get to hot if i roll them down to full length.

Got lots to learn driving the 911, i've got to carry more speed into a corner whilst braking to bring the weight over the front wheels.

I'm enjoying the car on track and the gearbox is fine... I was getting high intake temps at Donny and it kept lowering the boost so can't wait to get on track with the new engine set up with 5" intercoolers.

Yes they were the good old days. Time flies doesn't it. I found out a while back that the guy who bought my CSL pranged it and it's either been written off or on a cat c/d i was gutted to say the least... 4 1/2 years i had it and it never missed a beat.... E46 M3 CSL a future classic for sure.
