Ah the joys of Rex ownership eh John, once you have sampled and all that :)

Yes I will most likely change the HKS filter for a K&N / Apexi but cant do that until I have fitted my vmount and can see the space.

Will speak to Gary about the manifold wrapping and see what he says.

Dom, you'll get yours sorted I'm sure.

Ben.....ha ha ha I havent got the 10 gears yet though and the welds on the intake look pretty strong :)

Right, got the new line and made up the hose tonight with the garage door pulled almost right down and me squeezed between that and my car :)

Should be more than enough extra for that to extend, just have to make sure it doesnt rub on that coolant pipe behind it. Any ideas where to get some rubber protection for the pipe
?

Although the connector seemed an odd size, it wasnt a 17 or a 19 size spanner so have tightened it up by hand. Will pop to Thorns tomorrow and get an 18 just to do it properly. The last thing you want to be fkin around with is fuel piping eh :)

So it means on saturday I can get the battery plugged in again and see about testing the fuel lines for leaks. If that goes ok I can then start getting the turbo kit on properly.

Still a long way to go though......

Nice neat piping there mate, as others have said good progress!

You might be able to get some rubber (oo er!) from Thorns plumbing dept to protect it from the rubbing.

Thinking ahead you gonna upgrade the MAP sensor and air temp sensor? I know the ones on my car are not stock.
