Good work though.

Yes it is Russ, I can send you a link to some if you want. ;) 'varnish' is the word hidden on the bottle. Thought it would give someone a giggle. ;)

Cheers  Did some more tonight, but forgot to take photos. Brush polished all of the catches and hinges for the case. As well as shot blasting then painted black the spreader plates for the rivets inside the casing. Will upload more pics tomorrow evening when I do more work.

Cheers Pabs

Couple more bits tonight. Exterior catches and latches cleaned, wire wheeled and given a thorough 3M stainless polish. The inner spreader plates and mating plate have been painted black.

The rear cover in a white primer dustcoat. Prior to this I filled and sanded down the huge chip in the rear.

Now dustcoated in silver. Will add three more coats before lacquering.

Can you spot the repair? Good. ;)

Update :) Still in the lacquer phase of doing the wheel cover, however when lacquering the front cover I dropped the paint can and it's chipped the cover. So I'll leave that to harden up before I dress it and repaint that part of it.

Today I finally collected this entire facelift front bumper from the guy on Ebay. Still can't get over the fact that I paid just

Various grades of sandpaper, and some white fine scotchbrite pad to smooth it over. I use a random orbital, palm and corner sanders to get in all the crevices. :)
