How did you get on with stripping out all the unwanted wiring?Ian200sx wrote:http://www.bigpower.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=16681
I've just started and trying to do it in a methodical and hopefully logically way. Tracing the unwanted wires back to the fuse box and removing. And keeping fingers crossed.

Decat
I'm thinking of fitting a decat pipe to the Golf. I understand if I decat my Impreza I will require a remap. Will I need to do anything to the Golf if I remove the cat?

Not in my experience mate. You should be cool as a cucumber on an older car with no turbo

If you remove that bar you'll reduce torsional strength at the front unless you've got significant bracing across the turrets. You won't save much weight anyway mate (if that was your reason)
