The XR3i Turbo.... nearly there...
I must say that looks the business
Nice figures Dan. That must be such a laugh in a lightweight car (980kgs stock?) Buggsy a passenger ride when the weather returns to dry stuff Dan.

Cheers chaps.
BC box Pablo. IB5 was the later version with slightly stronger casing/larger bearings. In fact it's still running the XR3i 'box with it's open diff, which is probably why it's lasted so well- just spins the power away in the lower gears!
Did a quick comparison today too regarding gearbox shafts/gears-
One's the 80's/90's Ford RS turbo BC, on it's knees at 130bhp,
One's an Evo, same casing layout, but built for 300+ all day long (with many running 600+!)-

Have a guess which is which!
It's always been a lively one, lol. I was hoping for a proper dry run the week of the Charity day, but it just wouldn't have it (not helped by the Kumho's being a rather hard compound).
Next time it's on the road, I'll let you know.
