Rear badge, opinions? I thought I'd give it a go and if I didn't like it I would swop it back..I think it looks pretty good if I'm honest

I'm ambivalent mate. Looked nice as silver, and looks OK like that. Was that paint or wrap?

Yeah, not knocking it, just feel it was good either way. By the way, what treatment do you use on your roof to keep it water tight?

Been at Thorpe end garage to with a friend sorting out a few fluid changes, see below :)

Image

Gearbox oil changed
Diff oil changed with added friction modifier
Coolent changed
Braided brake lines fitted

The gear changes are a lot slicker then before and the brakes have a much better pedal and feel

Got it booked in for march for the dreaded valve clearances

Good to keep on top of things service wise though buddy. If you've mentioned this already I'm sorry, but have you had the rear subframe checked for cracks etc? Just was talking to Tommy not long ago and he mentioned how important it was.

I've had a good look when on the ramp and asked Darren(mechanic) to have a look when working on it and he hasn't spotted anything, not meaning to sound dense but I'm guessing cracks are easy to spot?

Just back from taken the car for a spirited drive and Brakes feel so much better! I'm glad I went for the lines whilst changing the fluid

Judging by a quick image search on Google, yes if you issues they may well be very noticeable...........got to be worth a proper check.

So it's the actual chassis that cracks rather then the subframe, I'll have another look next time it's in the air, I have seen no evidence of any cracking when I've looked previously, but then I've been looking at the actual frame rather then where it's bolted to so may have over looked it
