Yes Dom I have a scoot bonnet also that I've had for years. It's known as my 'summer bonnet' :) if you look earlier in the thread you will see I got it before Chris :D

I've always found Ross really helpful and pretty good for advice. Bought a few things from them over the years with no troubles. As a tuner you can't deny what he has achieved with the FD.

The trouble is it is very specialised but due to the cost in bits and fuelling then not as many people have them. Similar story for Jimmys who do more stuff selling parts from rx7s and rx8s than rebuilding. I'd have thought the R35 was an even more niche market though.

I'd be surprised if Ross had dropped the Rex's altogether, but I've been surprised before :) Being exclusively R35 based when you are in the arse end of the Universe is a strange business decision but it wouldn't be the first I guess.

I see more r35s around than Rx7s and they must have money to spend. Seems like a decent decision to me. Rx7 owners are all poor these days lol!

Nah he does still do RX7 stuff, he has an ebay shop that still sells RX7 parts but it doesnt have as many aftermarket bits anymore like it used to and must work on them still.

After seeing the excellent progress both Chris and Dom have made recently I decided to spend the morning working on mine.

First up fitting the FPR and adjusting the hoses from the tank and the one from the secondary fuel rail. Its mounted now and the hoses tightened but the fpr bracket not completely tight so I can run the test for leaks first:

The only concern I have is that the hose from the rail to the FPR is pretty tight and my worry is the engine will move and yank it out of the FPR or worse, the rail. Will post on FDUK for advice.

Also as this went well I thought I would pull my finger out and do a few easy jobs.
Firstly the RMagic Commander Holder mounted:

Secondly the ReAmemiya harness bar as I didnt want to have a cage in mine to fit the excellent Luke harnesses I bought off Benjamin when he flogged his GTR:

That was pretty much it for this morning but good progress I think :)

Looking good mate, I still have those Mani studs if you need em?

Regarding the fuel line, I am far from an expert in there things but unless you're running solid engine mounts I would change the line if have got any doubts. I have some goodridge 10AN braided line if its of any use?

It's always good to get some progress Gareth :) Nice.

As above, change that line mate. Better safe than sorry and all that.

Oh forgot to say, if you need a line made up and you are looking for somewhere to get one done checkout pirtek. They did all my turbo lines and were very helpful.
