It was a DOG ! ... even if they had been asking a grand wouldn't have gone for it!.

So Logan I'm now in correspondence for the other one. Have asked for more pics etc plus the location.

Also now thinking I should spend a bit more and get a V6 and aim for a fresh import.

Liking the Grey and the white and really do prefer them with the standard gold wheels.

It was a turd, and not an especially well prepared one either. Never mind

The car was being 'valeted' when we got there and it's made me feel so much better about what I do :) Those guys were animals

Loads more out there Ben. Be patient and be prepared to travel and you can't go wrong

Ben try and go for a 98 if you can that way if you have a engine problem all the engines from 93 - 98 will fit straight in youll only have to change the turbo and inlet manifold from your car.

The 99 engine was a one off and has different heads and the inlet manifold is shorter in width. not saying you are going to have a problem.

But somthing to think about.
if you need any help give me a shout.

Mike, I'm speaking to seller of this one

http://bbs.22b.com/forums/showthread.ph ... ite-Type-R

All sounds pretty damn good - he is going to send me more pics tomorrow then make a call from there.

Body will need some minor tidying, i.e. dent on the side and both bumpers have faded but that doesn't need to be done immediately.

One thing interesting that he did say which is due to the very short box it's very noisy doing 80 due to the lack of sound proofing and not very economical at speed as well as the suspension is rather stiff !! ... all the more fun.
